A Cold Selfie

It was pretty cold out this morning when I got up and headed into this city. Stopped outside and I was waiting for Lauralea to come, and for the truck to warm up and melt the frost on the windows. So I stopped for a moment to take a picture of myself.

It’s been a long year, and I have changed a good deal, physically even. So this is here just to remind myself that I am here, and I am alive, and life will be OK again.

Now, into the brisk air.
