The old and the new.

I had an hour to spare this afternoon and wandered along the Liverpool waterfront. There has been much controversy about the developments which have taken place over recent years - not least the Museum seen on the left. The city recently lost its World Heritage Site status due to such changes. Actually I think it reflects something of the city and its ability to constantly reinvent itself and respond to change. The extra is the Liver buildings reflected in the upper window of the musuem seen from the other side of this shot.
