Thursday: Acer Autumn Colour

We had a fine and dry day! Thank you Weather Boss!!
It was pretty chilly though this morning, I did some family history.
After lunch I had an hour of gardening.
Today’s jobs: clearing leaves from path to the greenhouse, they went into the compost bin layered with scrunched up old bank statements!
I cleared the courgette patch - we must have had some frost because the plants have turned mushy.
Filled a large rectangular pot with homemade compost and planted a dozen of the pickling onions, we’ll have spring onions in a few months time!
The Robin was busy snatching worms as I moved pots and cleared leaves - lovely companion :-))
I’ve been watching the Acer slowly changing colour, it’s sheltered so might keep the beautiful leaves for a while.
Made a nice cup of tea and carried on knitting this afternoon … a very balanced day!
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
