River of Flowers

Friday: More Autumn Colour …

… following yesterday’s colourful Acer.
Today, lime green leaves of Ginkgo biloba on the left and golden leaves of Hamamelis mollis (Witch Hazel) on the right - they’ll all be gone in the next stiff breeze!
Mostly grey, overcast and cloudy, dry and temperature slightly warmer around 12°C. Very pleasant for my little gardening session this afternoon.
Cleared the pots opposite our living room window, sunflowers were beautiful for weeks - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2880930620693807755 - my favourite. Sunflower seeds were collected yesterday and sprinkled onto the garden for the birds, I’ve also kept some for next year!
All the dead plant material and fallen leaves added to the compost bin, next year’s organic compost in the making :-))
The patio looks empty now - maybe MrD will move some pots for me? I’ll make him a cup of tea as a reward!
Friday … already! November the 5th … hope there aren’t too many fireworks and wishing you a peaceful and relaxing weekend x
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
