A day in Whitby

After our doggie walk we set off for our jaunt to Whitby. We arrived just in time for our opticians appointment, Mr PC was first so I went for a wander around the harbour saw plenty of boats, then I walked out to the pier but because of the high sea it was cordoned off. Returning, I crossed the bridge and walked to the bottom of the 199 steps which lead up to the Church or St Mary (a walk for another day). 

I head back to the opticians and we change over and it’s Mr PC’s turn for a walk and some picture taking, extra 3 is one of his.

We both had a thorough examination by the pre reg optometrist.

As 3plus hours had passed us by, we were pretty hungry, so we couldn’t resist stopping at one of the numerous fish and chip shops on the quayside and took some back to the car to feast.
