More sorting

The CD towers have now moved into their final position. The third move in a few weeks as successive rooms are redecorated.

So todays blip is an array of CD’s. These are part of a set of 27. All covers feature fantastic portraits by Steve McCurry, and each contains 2 CD’s. All part of a millennium project. Over the course of a year, commencing on Christmas Day 1999, all JS Bach’s cantatas we’re performed live ( mainly in churches) across Europe and North America by the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque soloists. The recordings were then issued as CD’s over the next 8 years, and I collected them. They are really well packaged, and the music is wonderful.

Doesn’t the millennium seem a long time ago now, a different age.
