In the Shadows

The man came and plugged the large hole in the back of the Hayloft stove  this morning (the plate covering the alternative flue opening had fallen off at some time, luckily the whole building hadn't burned down ... it's in the room above the garage...)

While he was doing that, I must have been doing something so boring that I can't remember what it was.  After lunch we went to Harestanes and walked, but it was so dull that I didn't take many pictures and had to resort to running this one through GoArt.

Determined to have one thing to show for today, I did an online order from the butcher for our family festive gathering (fingers crossed it will actually happen). Unfortunately, it failed to jump through the cybespace hoops, and will have to be done again, when I can summon the will to do it. Just at the moment, things seem to be falling apart around us. Did I mention there's a new leak in the roof ? 

But it's Friday, which means Fizz. And the heating is working. So, cheers all and have a great weekend!
