Lyttleton Harbour

Last night my sister-in-law told me about a walk from their place to the top of the port hills. It seemed like something I should do so instead of lazing in bed this morning I dragged myself up at a reasonable hour and headed off for a bit of exercise.

The walk was great and the view over the top of the hill was greater. This is Lyttleton Harbour from just over the brow at the Sign of the Kiwi. It is hard to believe when you see this that pretty much just turning 180 degrees and taking the 10 steps back to the top of the hill gives you a view out over the city.

This view was the prettier of the two this morning - colour untouched but thank goodness for polarisers.
