Down the park where there was football, bikes, putting, girls, late night drinking, short cuts home from the Scouts avoiding glue sniffers, getting moved on by cops in the days when they gave a sh!t, endless late nights chats on the swings discussing the minutiae of what band lyrics actually meant, short cuts home from the pub that invariably meant wading through the boating pond, fights, tennis and more football.
