Sunday: Greenhouse Assistant

Lovely sunny weather - fine and dry with light breeze, felt warm too.
MrD went off into the mountains on his motorbike.
I made 2 jars of compote using Bramley apples and the last of the frozen fruit from Lidl, then the washing was ready to go out and dried well.
I moved a few pots into the greenhouse, seedlings of wild sea cabbage and an early sprouting broccoli - they’ve been munched by slugs and are pretty weedy looking.
The Robin was inspecting the greenhouse and finding a few tasty morsels!
Sat outside to eat lunch then cut back more Weigela and the honeysuckle and clematis which were growing through, also cut a few straight branches of hazel, fancied making wreaths like a few years back

Had surprise FaceTime with our little granddaughters and their Mam and Dad. Love to all our family xxxx xxx xx

All the fresh air has made me very sleepy …
