Free running in the woods

I've really enjoyed my brief reunion with Tia. I think we have missed each other. This afternoon B and I took her to some special fenced off woodland where dogs who are lead-dependent can be let off safely. It was lovely to see her trotting around and occasionally bounding after a stick. She's a rescue dog and seemingly never taught recall so her adoptive 'parents' were told to always keep her on a long lead.

We are hoping next year to let her off on a safe part of the beach in Jersey, I would love to see her run free on the sand and in the water, she loves it so much. 

Gonna miss her all over again when I head home tomorrow (and my daughter of course!).
