Weather warning

Extra high tide with high winds and risk of flooding south and east coast.

I went out about an hour before high tide to see what the sea was doing. If you look closely at this pic of the lido there is a guy there apparently thinking about getting in!

It was dark by high tide so I stayed inside, as I was still working and then making dinner. The wind is still howling out there. Thank you for your kind comments yesterday, much appreciated.

I've enjoyed the mono Monday fika blips. I would have joined in (had I realised the theme) but as it was, on rushing back from a lunchtime errand, anticipating grabbing a lovely coffee from the local Portuguese cafe... epic fail - it was shut - because it's always shut on a Monday.
