Two Trees (MM407)
Another chance for some proper landscape photography with the tripod and filters etc (see extra)
These trees sit on the skyline above one of the paths leading to the Compton Verney estate and against the sky they make for a nice minimalist/negative space composition (?) There are two pairs of trees on the ridge, (see extra) but I couldn't find a viewpoint which would have had the bases of all four trees visible without walking into the crop.
I had an 0.9Hard ND Grad on the lens to bring the bright sky down, that shows up better in the colour versions. This mono was processed in Sliver eFex with a little selenium toning.
Just found a pre-pandemic blip of the same trees ... and almost the same sort of a day.
Thanks to our host, Carolina for Mono Monday.
