Christmas Cactus

Today's the day ........................ to make a point

Like a lot of us, this 'Christmas' cactus decided to opt out of the festive season completely last year.  

It remained completely devoid of anything resembling a flower bud - until February, when it took me by surprise and mysteriously blossomed, as if it meant to do it all along.  This year, it has decided to get it all over early (like a lot of us) - and that November would be a good month to put on its festive show.  

Come what may, it just seems that my contrary 'Christmas' cactus has got it in for Christmas - and is determined to avoid it, at all costs ......................
