Fly-ins

The birthday continues with gifts and cards dribbling into my mailbox.

NZPost is overwhelmed with parcels at the moment and it seems to be affecting all mail throughout the country.

Happily these garden birds arrived from Nelson today.

Today’s tasks have included planting out three varieties of beans, 10 varieties of tomatoes, onions, leeks, celery, kohl rabi and peas. The sweet corn and cucumbers are top of tomorrow’s job list. It’s that time of year…
