2021 Sunday — Subdued

This afternoon was subtle, subdued, peaceful, relaxing, and leisurely. Walking the sidewalk alongside the harbor was extremely pleasant. Everyone we passed and spoke to was outwardly happy.

Then on our way back to the house, we stopped by the grocery store and a bit later arrive home in time to watch the earliest sunset so far of this season; this was our first day not to be on Daylight Saving Time.

Then I made us a dinner of chopped Cesar salad, garlic bread, and angel hair spaghetti topped with garlic olive oil sauce, sliced black olives, and capers. “Very good” was the verdict.
