Blue skies

...and bitter winds. Having had a very short hair cut yesterday, my head hurts now from the wind!

I slept in this morning. Until 7.45am. I know, unbelievable! We went to the gym and I did a monster workout which felt good. Home for some food and Bex arrived, it's always fab to see her. In to Newark to do some jobs and have tea at a lovely coffee and cake shop. I bought three folders and oodles of paper to help me prep for my new job - I need to dump all the thoughts in my head on to paper! We came home for Paul to make a cake and me to prepare pizza dough. The usual dinner when Paul and the kids are home - homemade pizza...but tonight we are having it with champagne. Well, Bex is home and I have a job to celebrate for as long as possible!

Paul and Bex are looking forward to Doctor Who (yawn!) and I'm ready to read one of my many new books for work! Quentin is home from his ski trip today so Paul is collecting him from the station late tonight. We shall have a family breakfast in the morning - Dad's style, full fry up! What a happy Saturday!
