Gaia and Human

A few years ago I had the chance to see Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon. Today it was the turn of his more recent art installation - Gaia. It's currently on display in the chapel at the Keele University campus in Newcastle-under-Lyme, North Staffordshire.

It may not be as impressive a building as some of the cathedrals it's previously been installed in but was still mesmerising to see. I was particularly struck by the view of the Pacific Ocean. You can barely see any land mass. My other half kindly offered his services as  my model for this image.
