The Great Ridge

We had quite a changeable day of weather with sunshine, a bit of rain and a rainbow. We walked from the car park at Rushup Edge over the Great Ridge - Mam Tor, Hollins Cross, Back Tor, Ward's Piece and finally Lose Hill. We then descended into Castleton where we had lunch. We then made our way back to the car, passing by the entrance to Treak Cliff Cavern.

What a difference walking during the week is. We encountered just a handful of other walkers throughout the day. Bliss!
