A Bit Damp

It was our first full day on holiday in the Lakes, photographing with John Gravett. Fully in the knowledge the weather was forecast to be wet, we headed to the woods near Loweswater.  This morning was indeed very wet - it was a challenge to take any photographs while keeping most things dry. We persevered, and the afternoon had some really beautiful colour.

The main picture is by me (Annie) - a rare sight on this journal! I had to re-learn how to use my DSLR after (mumble, mumble) years of not using it. The extra is by Chris, and captures a moment where the cloud seemed like it was going to break. It didn't.
