Lemon tree oh so pretty

Lemon Drizzle today; in the style of a Victoria Sponge.

It was a birthday cake so rather than stick it in a loaf tin I stuck it in cake tins. I felt it made it a bit dry but I got no complaints from the birthday girl or those who were fortunate to be gifted a little slice.

Last nights honeycomb did not survive til morning it became amazingly deconstructed; but not in a way you would want to eat.

I tried again tonight and after stirring frantically for fifteen minutes I suddenly wondered if my stirring was cooling it down.

Within seconds of me ceasing stirring the temperature shot up and it burnt but bot it’s light and fluffy.

Just the Smokey smell off it is a bit off putting.

I have promised Himself that I will not put him thru this torture another night
