Between Raindrops

We had an errand to do on campus, and were lucky enough to park right where a couple of wild turkeys were taking a stroll. Usually we see them in large flocks, but this pair roamed together at the side of the road, finding little treats in the grass. They didn't seem to be afraid of people or cars, but they sure speeded up when a bus went by. They do have the best feathers!


As for the Extra, I was surprised to see the hummingbirds flying in the rain. It doesn't seem that there's enough bulk there to withstand the drops. I would love to know where they go when the storm gets heavier.
