A(nother) Lovely Time

My apologies: I have posted a remarkably similar photo to this recently. However, it was the only picture that I took today, which started in Liverpool, followed by a trip across to Chorley to drop the Minx at the hairdressers, before I went down to Salford for college, where I spent a happy afternoon.

The Minx picked me up afterwards and we had a quick bite at Porta before going across to Grub for Amy Gledhill's 'A Lovely Time'. In an inversion of the usual proceedings, I actually liked the first act, Sean Morley, best, and I also had a couple of real laughs at Willian Stone who was on second.

Dealing in one liners - in the style of Tim Vine - he had two absolute winners, which I will attempt to repeat here:

"My friends say I often remind them of Brad Pitt. I guess I do talk about him a lot."

On the subject of microwave meals:

"It says pierce the lid in several places. Who's got time for that?"

(I must confess, the latter took me a moment or two.)
