From Blea Tarn
A poignant day, the last day of John Gravett's last scheduled Lake District photographic holiday. We headed over to Blea Tarn this morning (after a quick stop to photograph some mist) and were blessed with dry weather. The main blip shows the view captured by Annie as we got a glimpse of sunlight in the distance. One from me (Chris) in the extras showing the view over the tarn from a more elevated position.
After lunch we headed over to Slaters Bridge by which time the drizzle had started and soon turned to rain. We did some group photos on the bridge and then headed for the shelter of Cathedral Quarry. We got drenched walking back to the car!
A lovely pub meal this evening where we were joined by John's wife Deb.
