On the Trip Home

We left the Lake District this morning in the rain. It kind of made it easier to not leave on a day of good weather. We diverted slightly to Ingleton to see some very good friends who run a fabulous glass studio and craft shop. It was great to catch up and we made a few Christmas purchases too. Not too far from them is the Ribblehead viaduct. Certainly wasn't the weather for sight seeing but I (Chris) jumped out of the car to grab a snap (and then dried off camera and lens). 

The rest of the journey was soggy but it was good to get home this evening. The close of a fabulous trip.
