Remembrance Day

Community Choir this afternoon, and these were the wall hangings at the front of the church where we sing.  This church seems to have wall hangings for every occasion - they obviously have some talented craftspeople.  Another new song to learn - thankfully not too difficult for the harmonies, and we did well with the new one we started last week. Numerous new gigs for December too.  May not be able to do some of them, but we’ll see.  Also got pinged to have my Covid Booster so that is booked now for next week.  A friend offered to take me at the same time as she was having hers, but by the time I saw her text the appointments at the venue she had chosen were booked up.  Doesn’t matter as I have booked one in the town centre so can have a look around and do some shopping at the same time.
