Taking Turns

Don’t be confused, this is a totally different shot from yesterday!  This beautiful little Eastern Spinebill decided it was their turn to tuck into the Waratah for the nectar.  The fact that it was pelting down with rain didn’t deter it for a second.  If you look closely you will see the raindrops on its head.  The rain over the past few days has been fantastic.  The tank is overflowing and that’s always a good thing, particularly coming into summer.
