Walking Wombat

Tucker Time!

I can always rely on the New Holland Honeyeaters coming in for a feast when the Waratah blooms are at this stage of their life cycle.  I don’t object to them doing this because they treat the flower with great respect and gently work their way around the flower head.  Unlike the very disrespectful Lorikeets who basically destroy the flower in the process of munching greedily on it.
We’ve had another big day outside today, that is until the rain set in at around 3.00pm.  Happy to report that our water tank is full to the brim and its times like these that you start to think it might be a good idea to look at purchasing another one!!
