The first light of Easter ...

The new fire is lit in the grounds of Holy Trinity Dunoon, the Paschal Candle is lit and blessed, the Light of Christ proclaimed three times as the candle is processed into the dark church. The most special night of the year, a ceremony that I always face with tension and end with exhilaration - though singing the Exultet may have been responsible for most of the tension!

Christ is risen. Alleluia.
