Digger heaven

I've had my eye on this playground digger as being something my older grandson would love, though in my normally grandchildless state I didn't have the excuse to go in and try it out. It turns out to be amazingly sturdy and heavy, so that Al had to be helped to get the controls in his hands - but it works perfectly, just like the real thing. Success!

I also had the opportunity to try out the mysterious trumpet-structures on opposite sides of the play area: they're a speaking trumpet set, and they too work wonderfully. A visiting daddy and I had great fun testing them ...
