Lord Mayor's Show

I've lived in London on and off since 1973 but have never been to the Lord Mayor's Show before - what a spectacle!  I took about 350 photos, of which these are a tiny selection.  In the extra I have put the Lord Mayor's 250 year old golden State Coach continuing down Ludgate Hill from St Paul's Cathedral to the Law Courts.  I've included it mainly to show you the crowds.  The Lord Mayor's Show has been held almost every year since 1215.  It was cancelled in 2020 for the first time since 1852 when it would have clashed with the funeral of the Duke of Wellington (who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo).  The crowds were really enjoying themselves today.
