Fallen fruit

Although there are still lots of berries on the rowan, a lot are lying on the ground beside the tree too. I hope the birds will find them soon, but they’d be best to stick to the ones on the tree since we have a lot of neighbourhood cats visiting our garden at the moment. A fresh pile of feathers on the path tells its own sorry tale.
