Primroses in our front garden

I was surprised to see our primroses are flowering. This is not normal for November!
Extra photo of the rich red jasmine leaves.
We have a solitary rosebud on one of our rose bushes and a few flowers still around here and there.
I was also surprised yesterday to see a neighbour has her Christmas decs up in the house already and now her next door neighbour has a lit Christmas tree in her lounge! I'd be sick of the sight of the dec by Christmas if I put them up in November - not to mention the dust they'd gather. Bah humbug!
No rain today so the washing was pegged out, the garden was tidied and leaves were cleared.
