Emotional, as always

The annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance from the Royal Albert Hall this evening was as emotional as ever and also commemorated the 100 years of ‘the Legion’.
My late Mum was a member of the Women’s Royal British Legion and for many years sold Poppies around her village for the annual appeal. When she moved, and retired at 72, she was given this lovely Poppy brooch in recognition of her service.
I wear it with pride each year.
