Day 88 of 365 - Berkswell Windmill!
Welcome to day 88 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)
The original photo was taken this morning. It is an image of of Berkswell Windmill which is actually in Balsall Common, just outside Coventry. The Windmill which looks like it has now been fully restored, dates back nearly 200 years. It was built in 1826 on the site of a much older post mill. It is said that this is the most fully complete Tower Mill in the Midlands. The Windmill which is actually privately owned, is usually opened to the public on the first Saturday of the month during the summer. I look forward to taking a look around it soon, now that the restoration looks complete.
As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App KitCam for iPhone. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.
First of all I used Snapseed to crop and edit the image. The edits were made by sharpening the image and then adding some extra structure. I then boosted the Ambiance, Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. I then straightened the picture a little. Finally I used the App ShockMyPic to help boost the tone of the overall image.
