Garlic bed

I really shouldn't have worried about planting my garlic later than usual this year.

I'm not sure what it's liked the most - the mild, wet weather or the layer of manure on the bed - but it's doing extremely well and all the cloves have sent out nice healthy shoots.

It's great when a crop does exactly what it should. Garlic is pretty easy and pretty low-maintenance. I can now watch it grow all winter and start to look forward to the summer harvest.
