Saturday: Hat Selection

A few weeks ago, K. and I were due to come over to Victoria but had to postpone our trip as the weather was too uncertain to be able to take the seaplane over. So we’re now making the trip this weekend.

We had a good productive morning at home and then flew over early afternoon.  The flight was really smooth which isn’t always a given on the seaplanes.

Very rainy in Victoria.  We had a nice afternoon going to our favourite bookshops, ‘Russell’s’ and ‘Munro’s’ - purchases were made.  Some beers, including at the excellent ‘Whistle Buoy Brewing’ and an Indian meal to end the day.  A change of scenery is always so lovely, even when it’s short.

There’s a general sense here that Victoria feels quite British.  I certainly haven’t seen a hat shop like this in Vancouver.
