Remembrance

The estate agents just round the corner have produced a very stylish and poignant Remembrance display in their window. They have removed the adverts of properties for sale and inserted this simple and effective set of panels of photos of poppies with poppy flowers mounted over them.

I called in to congratulate them and they explained that the idea came from one of the young women staff in the office. It's very well done and deserves to be my picture for today.

Out to see family this morning I was in the car and engrossed with the radio broadcast from the Cenotaph ceremony. Extremely well done and an example of how effective the radio can be, putting the images in to your head through words.

And the delight of seeing grandchildren for brunch. Such a tonic.
