Lest we forget…

This banner is on a hedge outside a local church. Today we remembered in our service. We’ve watched Antiques Roadshow from Ypres and listened to some incredible stories of bravery, and sadness.

We had a We4 Zoom after lunch. Valerie is looking good and sounding positive. She’s booked a holiday for her family in February. She thought she’d have finished her thirteen weeks by then but the three weeks on, one off has thrown that a bit. Something to look forward to though.

I left a bag of treats for Hannah in her isolation. She thinks she must have caught the infection while visiting her parents in Yorkshire last weekend, though how and where remains a mystery. They have been shielding for the duration and Hannah drove to them to keep herself and them protected.
