My friend with the four young boys has Covid. If anyone has been cautious and followed all the rules, it’s her and her family. Her husband has been shielding due to his asthma. So, where on earth did this come from. We had a long chat which apparently did her “the world of good,” said Javier. Tonight she messaged to say she’d changed the sheets, had a soak in the bath and was trying to relax. If the boys’ homework is a little late, it really won’t matter. She’s finding the isolation from the family very difficult.

We’ve just watched The Festival of Remembrance from the Royal Albert Hall.
We will remember them.
