Remembrance 16
Driving home from Bristol on Thursday I couldn’t but help overhear Josh on the phone. Amongst the first to call him was the Cornwall Rugby Union asking if he was free to referee a senior match over the weekend, he agreed and was allocated Falmouth v Camborne, around thirty minutes later he received a call asking if he was free to play for Falmouth in the same match!!
So there I was carrying Joshua’s kit up to the club and hoping for a quiet day ready for tomorrow’s parade and service.
We survived the match beer free but then England kicked off against Australia and it turned messy.
Dinner was fish & chips from a polystyrene box at the rugby club.
Good to be back at the club with my son watching and participating in the game we love at the club we belong to.
