Swans in the Bay

At high tide the whole of Belhaven Beach is swallowed up by the sea and quite often the swans that in the daytime live on nearby Seafield Pond, seek refuge in the shallows of the bay. For a short period whilst the tide and river outflow are in balance you can see patches of still water in the sea and it is there that the pair of swans tend to go. If the weather is kind and there is a nice blue sky the sun catches them obliquely showing lovely feather detail and there are good reflections. Today was such a day. Three days in a row of sunshine ! Deary me this could be be infectious.
