Still the best

This is my 'go to' cookery book.  Many years ago it replaced my worn out Good Housekeeping book given to me by my mother when I married.  The original of this got very tatty but fortunately a replacement came into the charity shop.  It deals with all the basic stuff.  I have plenty of other ones I can use for more exotic dishes.
Yoga today followed by recording at the OU and then a very pleasant trip to the garden centre to get my car cleaned.  A neighbour came with me and we had a good forage amongst the Christmas goodies and also enjoyed a cuppa and scone before collecting my very clean car.
