Light to see by

I work with various Churches of Scotland in Edinburgh, helping them understand their communities. This doesn't always make me popular, but I was greatly encouraged by this gift of a candle from the congregation at Queensferry on my final Sunday there. The minister said that my ministry is a prophetic one, bringing light so that the congregation can see themselves and their community in another way.

Must remember this on the bad days...
