Thinking more visually

Let me out!

No way, Crackle!!

Last night Miss Crackle slipped out of the front door as I was coming in laden with shopping. Every other time she has done this (twice) she has stopped a metre or so out the door, frozen, and then skedaddled back in again at great speed.

Not tonight.

Tonight she discovered that snow is fun to pounce on, that there are VERY interesting smells in the neighbours gardens - far more interesting smells than any offered by cat treats being proffered by me. She danced around the four neighbouring front gardens for twenty minutes or so while I tried to work out how to catch her.

Finally, she deigned to approach for a treat, at which point she was unceremoniously grabbed and put back into the house. I then had to go back for my coat which I'd taken off in case I could throw it over her to catch her.

Snap and Crackle will be allowed outside once we're back from holiday, just not yet...
