Leaf mould in the making

Since I had a massive chunk of garden work done last spring, this previously long-neglected, overgrown space has become an very welcome haven of (relative) calm, much learning and huge joy in grubbing about. Today in unexpectedly warm November sun I raked and bagged up some of leaves that needed collecting so I could cut the lawn - a bit late but, well, such is life. So now there will be beautiful leaf mould next year. Happy with that!
