Colour by the stream

Having had a rather bad night, I was slow getting going this morning. The sun was back today, and the temperature a bit milder than the last few days. Roger and I went hiking at Long Branch late morning. The trail involved crossing the stream several times, which fortunately we managed to do without getting our feet wet (!), and my blip was the view from one of these crossings. We passed a few other people, each with their dogs, but generally it was pretty quiet, mainly just the sound of bird song, running water and the sound of squirrels scurrying through the fallen leaves. On our return, it was back to my Duolingo, and then some housework, followed by an early dinner, since Laura was going out to a choir practice this evening.
