Siskin

A pair of siskins took the place of the goldfinches which were on the feeder a couple of days ago, so hopefully they will be nesting pretty close as well as the goldfinches. I caught this single siskin later - it is just reacting to the sound of the shutter from the previous shot. It stayed for seven shots altogther, before I went back in and left it to its feeding.

Nice Easter Sunday lunch today. Family plus mother in law and an american friend from my wife's church. Nice roast of beef, relaxed chat and simnel cake for afters.
