Déjà-vu

I walked the dogs as I needed the exercise and so that Angie could take Sultan out for a good canter (not good for Luna). Dogs & I are locked in this afternoon while they are our riding. Luna knows Angie is outside but not that she is riding so the dogs & I are locked in till they get back. If I let Luna out she would pick up the smell & probably disappear.
See from my weather programme YoWindow (from the Norwegian Weather Service) that most of the British Isles (Cavan, Worthing, Poole, Maidstone, Norwich, Scarborough & Edinburgh) is enjoying a dry & sunny if cold day. Sky News has just brought a report about the number of avalanches & deaths this year in the UK!
YoWindow is quite fun as it is not only very good local weather - if your town/village isn't listed, you simply send an email with the GEO data & they will include it - but it is based on an animated scene which you can personalise, the standard being especially good for us countryside bums & horse owners. Depending on the weather, the horses Billy or Millie are allowed out on the field, and occasionally you hear very discreetly the cows in the barn or the rooks flying around. The chimney smoke rises according to the temperature, wind direction & strength as do the trackside plants. The trees & grass grow with the temperature or are covered in snow if appropriate, Highly recommended for good quality forecast & a bit of fun AND it's free!
