Sunday: Rab Towers

It started off very rainy this morning but we weren't deterred from having a really thorough wander round the town.  We also went for a good long walk along the promenade.  One of the things we saw was a plaque saying that the most famous visitors to Rab have been Prince Edward and Mrs Simpson in 1936.  I remember reading somewhere else that they engaged in a bit of skinny-dipping while they were here.  Really!

After lunch we took a drive out and found a lovely beach to walk along.  Still too chilly to contemplate paddling but it was great to just walk.

Another good day which is apt as K. and I are celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary today.  I know it's a cliché but it really does just keep getting better and better!

We did say we would try and find somewhere nice for a meal tonight but we have changed that to just settling for somewhere open!
